Rinse quinoa thoroughly. Combine quinoa, water, and seasonings in a pot, bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 15 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. That's it!
Make it savory: add 1/2–1 teaspoon of your favorite dry herb or spice or up to 1/4 cup of any combination of fresh herbs.
Make it sweet: add raisins or dates, cinnamon, and/or coconut during cooking. You can even replace half of the cooking water with fruit juice.
