Tahini Miso Spread
Makes about 1/2 cup
- 4 tablespoons sesame tahini
- 1 tablespoon dark miso (barley, red, genmai)
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- 4 tablespoons water or more
Heat a small skillet or pan over medium heat. Add tahini and roast until it begins to turn slightly golden, stirring
constantly. Warm water over medium heat, dilute miso and add to tahini/miso mixture to achieve desired consistency, cooking over low heat for 2–3 minutes. Stir in grated orange peel.
